First Look: The Wife of Willesden Production Images

We’ve just received new first look production images from the Kiln Theatre's production of The Wife of Willesden, Zadie Smith’s debut play.

Directed by Indhu Rubasingham and starring Clare Perkins in the title role, The Wife of Willesden is Smith’s 21st century adaptation of Chaucer’s The Wife of Bath.

Rubasingham directs Marcus Adolphy (Winston/Mandela/Black Jesus), Jessica Clark (Polly/Sophie), Crystal Condie (Author/Zaire/Queen Nanny), George Eggay (Pastor/Eldridge), Andrew Frame (Ian/Socrates/Bartosz), Scott Miller (Ryan), Hussina Raja (Asma), Theo Solomon (Darren/Young Maroon/Colin) and Ellen Thomas (Aunty P/Old Wife).
